Community Rules

DJ Network — DJs Helping DJs. These rules help members share booking-cover opportunities fairly and safely.

Post genuine opportunities

Only post confirmed bookings you are genuinely unable to cover. Provide accurate event details, dates, location, payment terms, arrival times and equipment requirements. Do not publish private client contact details or exact private addresses in public listings.

Apply responsibly

Apply only when you are genuinely available and able to meet the stated requirements. Confirm the booking details directly with the original DJ before making commitments. Do not misrepresent experience, DBS status or equipment.

Respect other members

Keep messages professional. No harassment, discrimination, threats, spam, scams or unsolicited marketing. Do not share private messages or personal information outside the booking without a lawful reason or permission.

Keep arrangements clear

The original DJ and covering DJ are responsible for agreeing fees, travel, equipment, cancellation arrangements and any client or venue permissions. DJ Network does not process payments or guarantee either party’s performance.

Completion records

Booking owners should record outcomes honestly after the event. Successful records and automatic badges recognise completed covers, not independently verified professional accreditation. No written reviews or numerical ratings are used.

Report concerns

Contact privacy@djnetwork.co.uk to report suspected misuse. DJ Network may remove content or restrict accounts where appropriate.

DJ Network Approved badge

Only DJ Network administrators can award or revoke DJ Network Approved status. Members may be asked to provide suitable supporting evidence privately and must supply accurate, genuine information. Never falsify documents, references, bookings or experience, or claim to be approved when you are not. Approval is discretionary, may be withdrawn and is not a guarantee of performance, safety, DBS clearance or qualifications. Do not post sensitive identity or DBS documents publicly or send them through ordinary gig messages. Successful-cover achievement badges are separate and awarded automatically from eligible completion records.
